To complete your return envelope fold your ballot and place it into the return envelope, sign your name by the red “x” then print your address and the date on the back of the return envelop- the signature must match the signature on your voter registration card. If you signature is missing/doesn’t match the signature on the voter registration card, your ballot cannot be counted. This is to make voting more secure. The signature on the back of the return envelope is compared to the voter’s original signature to ensure that an unauthorized person can‘t complete another voter’s ballots. You do not have to mail your ballot directly, you can also deliver your ballot to the the Registrar of Voters’ Office.
